Gemma has been practising yoga for over 15 years. Initially drawn to its aesthetics, she found that meditation and breathing practises alongside mindful movement were hugely beneficial for her mind as well as her body. It is this holistic style of yoga that she loves sharing with others.
Gemma trained to teach with the British Wheel of Yoga (500 hours Diploma) and has additional training in pregnancy and post-natal yoga.
Gemma draws on her experience and training in mental health and physical rehabilitation, aiming to provide inclusive classes that are accessible to everyone. She is passionate about providing opportunity for deep relaxation and recuperation. Gemma believes that rest is underrated in our society. She feels that yoga can be invaluable in helping us to navigate through lifes challenges and uses yoga daily to help her find balance in her busy life and to aid sleep.
